    Free home surveys
    The first step to having a fireplace or stove installed is to get us in to discuss your requirements and survey your property to assess whether your plans are feasible and see whether there are any problems, such as a damaged chimney, that will need to be dealt with. All of this is carried out free of charge, and we will provide a cost quotation once the exact specification of the work has been agreed.

    Fireplace and stove installations
    We carry out the entire fireplace and stove installation process, from a free initial survey to final testing of the completed installation. Our work is to a high standard and complies fully with the relevant building regulations (Part J). When installing a stove we usually fit a liner. Before fitting a fireplace we sweep the chimney and do visual checks or a smoke sound test if necessary. Then we can return each year to sweep the chimney. We can handle most related requirements, including:

    • Forming constructional hearths
    • Fitting fire backs and throat forming lintels
    • Fitting surrounds

    How we work
    Dean, the owner of the business, personally controls and works on every project, and will discuss everything fully with you at all stages. He is happy to provide advice on choosing your fireplace or stove, but will leave it to you to buy the stove. It’s worth buying a recognised make, not only for the guarantee, but also for the quality.

    Save money in the summer
    It’s worth having an installation done during the summer if possible: prices for stoves and fireplaces are cheaper and we usually have a shorter backlog of work, so you shouldn’t need to wait very long.
